Love, Passion, Kindness ... Everyday

Here at C.A.R.E. Farm Sanctuary, we are driven by our philosophy; that every life has inherent value. All of the animals we save, no matter the species, deserve respect and compassion.

Our operations as a no-kill rescue for cats and dogs (learn more about that here) expanded when we started receiving calls for help with unwanted farm animals. With our no-kill philosophies and values, it was a natural progression to incorporate saving the lives of horses, cows, goats, pigs, bunnies and more.

Today, we have over 100 animals living at our Farm Sanctuary in southwest Missouri. They enjoy our beautiful 385 acres with rolling hills, peaceful meadows, and shaded woods where our animals can roam, run, and graze to their heart's desire. We allow them to live in herds and to experience life the way nature intended. These animals form strong bonds with one another, and many finally have the family they were denied in their previous situations. Our farm sanctuary team showers them with love and affection, and provides all of the necessary food, supplements, medications and veterinary care to ensure they are happy and healthy.
